Ecosocial Forum
The Ecosocial Forum, a Think-tank and non-profit organization based in Austria, is devoted to promoting the concept of an “Ecosocial Market Economy”. Ecosocial Market Economy refers to an economic model, which is based on establishing a balance between economic, ecological und social sustainabilty in the respective cultural context. We aim at a world which is also fit for future generations.
The Ecosocial Forum’s aim is an efficient and, at the same time, socially and ecologically sustainable, balanced economy. As an independent platform, the Ecosocial Forum has been bringing together personalities, institutions, organi-sations and interested parties from differing areas of society since the 1990s in order to campaign jointly and actively for the Ecosocial Market Economy.
The Ecosocial Forum works towards the real-political implementation of the Ecosocial Market Economy at regional, national and international level. It propagates thinking and acting beyond national frontiers because global markets require global regulations (Global Governance). The goal is a world in balance.
